Beacon Donor Memorial Service
Last night we had the honor of taking part in the Beacon Donor Memorial Service, honoring those who had become organ, eye and tissue donors in the last two years from Memorial Hospital of South Bend and Elkhart General Hospital. It was a beautiful and touching evening, and we thank all of the families who supported the decision for their loved one to be a donor. They will never know how wide and deep of an impact they have made in the lives of others.

Eskenazi Hospital Celebrates Life
As National Donate Life Month came to an end, the Indiana Lions Eye Bank along with the Indiana Donor Network hosted a Memorial Lantern Ceremony at Eskenazi Hospital.
All were invited, and those that attended gathered to honor those who gave the gift of life through organ, tissue, and eye donation, those who have received this gift and those who still wait.
Each family was able to release a paper lantern with their personal message.
It was a truly touching and inspiring evening.
